INEC warns against announcement of results, says it's an electoral offence

We will start getting the results from INEC by
this time tomorrow...

Fani-Kayode says disregared election results flying around, says PDP is winning in 23 states

Below is the text of a press conference by the
director of media and publicity, PDP, presidential
campaign organization, Chief Femi Fani Kayode
today...
We are deeply concerned by the level of
disinformation and falsehood that is being
peddled around by the friends of the
opposition in the media and particularly
their paid agents and associates on the
social media about the results of
Saturdays elections. Since yesterday
afternoon they have been releasing fake
results and they have been attempting to
mislead the Nigerian people and our
friends in the international community.
The public have been inundated with lie
after lie about the APC's so-called
victories in virtually every single polling
booth, ward, local government area and
state in the country. This is not only
nonsensical but it is also far-fetched,
absurd and childish.
Two opposition media houses and their
associates in the social media went as far as to
shamelessly claim that President Goodluck
Jonathan lost in my polling unit and in my ward
in Ile-Ife, when in actual fact the President not
only won in my polling booth and ward but he
also won in virtually every other ward in the four
local government areas of Ile Ife in Osun state
where I come from.
The dirty lies that these two media houses have
told is just one example of the gross and
irresponsible mendacities and falsehood that the
agents and associates of the APC habitually
enjoy peddling. As we have always said, they are
a party of liars that are led and inspired by a
small cabalistic cult of shameful deceivers, liars
and cheap propaganda merchants. In them there
is no truth and lying is their second nature and
natural habitat.
The APC, through their agents in the media, also
indulged in many other fanciful and vain
mendacities about many other PDP leaders. For
example they claimed that Senator Musiliu
Obanikoro who is presently the Honorable
Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Senator
Iyiola Omisore, the leader of our party in Osun
state, Governor Olusegun Mimiko, the Governor
of Ondo state, Senator David Mark, the Senate
President, and so many other of our highly
esteemed and respected leaders also lost their
polling units and wards to General Muhammadu
Buhari and the APC candidates for the various
elections.
Needless to say these claims by the APC are not
only false but they are also absurd and
nauseating. Such mendacities are indicative of
the fact that they have lost touch with reality as
we have always suspected. As a matter of fact
we are surprised that they didn't claim that the
President himself also lost in his polling unit and
ward and that he in fact voted for Buhari rather
than for himself. Such is their level of depravity
and deceit that they will manufacture any lie and
assert any falsehood just to gain an edge and
feed their vain delusions.
The lies they have told about the so-called
victory of Buhari in Ile Ife, Osun state is
particularly distasteful because not only has
Jonathan appeared to have won in Ile-Ife but
our PDP candidate for the Federal House of
Representatives in that constituency, Mr. Albert
Adeogun, appears to have won the election
hands down and defeated Mr. Rotimi Makinde of
the APC, who is the sitting member of the
Federal House of Representatives. Our candidate
for the House of Representatives in Ilesa in the
same senatorial district, Mr. Wole Oke, appears
to have won his election as well which is
another major blow for the APC in Osun
state.
Instead of acknowledging these monumental and
devastating losses of some of their leading
members, the APC, in their habitual manner
simply continue to bury their small heads in the
ground like the proverbial ostrich, live in denial
and peddle lies and falsehood. It is time that
they were called to order. The lies of the APC
must be ignored and treated with the contempt
and disdain that they deserve.
The reports that we are getting from the field is
that our candidate is doing very well in the south
and north central and that we are making very
strong inroads into various states in the core
north. The motive for the lies and disinformation
of the APC is to create high expectations for
their supporters so that when the real results
come out and they are announced by INEC, and
when those real results do not tally with the fake
results that the APC have told their agents and
friends to release, they will begin to run riot,
create havoc and kill people.
This is irresponsible and dangerous and we
hereby warn the APC and their agents in the
media to stop spreading falsehood and telling
dangerous lies. We also call on the security
agencies to be vigilant because when the truth of
their defeat finally dawns on them the APC and
Buhari will not take it very lightly. We should all
patiently wait for INEC to release the official
results of all the elections and until then we call
on our supporters and party members to hold
their heads up high, to remain confident and
strong and to hold their peace.
Though it is undoubtedly a close race we at the
PDPCO are cautiously confident and we are very
optimistic of total victory despite the desperation,
lies and disinformation of the APC. At the end of
the day we have no doubt that President
Goodluck Jonathan and the PDP shall prevail.
We are constrained to conclude this short
briefing by commenting on two issues that are
also a matter of grave concern to us. First of all
it has been brought to our attention that
hundreds of thousands of underage voters were
allowed to vote by INEC officials in many parts
of the north during Saturday's elections.
The pictures of these underage voters, who are
APC supporters and many of whom are not even
Nigerians but were drafted across our northern
borders just to vote, are all over the internet.
These pictures show the children actually giving
their thumb prints and voting in the elections on
Saturday. This is unacceptable to us and it
needs to be explained by INEC. We await further
clarification from them about it and failing that
we shall revisit the issue in a very forceful and
precise manner at a later stage.
The other area that needs clarification and an
explanation from INEC and which gives us deep
concern is the situation that we have found
ourselves in when it comes to the issue of card
readers. We warned about this right from the
outset and we expressed our reservations about
their usage but we were ignored and even
criticised by many at the time for doing so. With
the shameful and abysmal performance of the
card readers during Saturday's polls we believe
that we have been vindicated and that our earlier
concerns have proved to be legitimate and valid.
Sadly the damage that the failure of the card
readers has caused to the fortunes of our
supporters and party is immense.
Many of our supporters were disenfranchised and
were unable to get accreditation or to vote as a
consequence of the card reader situation and it
is curious that most of the problems associated
with card readers only took place in areas and
states that are the traditional strongholds of
President Jonathan and the PDP. Was this a
mere coincidence or was it contrived? That is
the million dollar question. We shall speak more
about this and other matters after the final
results have been announced by INEC. Until then
we shall hold our peace.
We use this medium to call on our friends in the
social media, the party faithful and all President
Goodluck Joanthan Support Groups not to
remain silent in the face of these shenanigans.
They should speak out on what they know about
the propaganda and falsehood of the opposition
APC. They should not be intimidated at all by
the opposition’s desperate and reprehensible
antics. They should set the record straight and
not allow themselves to be robbed of a well-
earned victory.
As we speak now, we are winning in 23 states
and we have 64 percent while the APC is
winning in 14 states and has 36 percent. These
results are subject to confirmation by the
Independent National Electoral Commission.
However, we are certain of what we are saying
because we have information from our agents in
every polling unit nationwide. No one must test
our will by attempting to change these results
and the APC should desist from pushing this
nation to the brink of fire, chaos and destruction
with their dirty lies and propaganda.
Thank you.

Wizkid Smashes Fan’s Iphone 6 In Dubai Club [See Photo]

Samuel Ajayi, a disgruntled fan of
Afro pop sensation Wizkid took to

According to Ajayi, all he wanted to

cooling off, when the artiste turned
violent, attacked him and then
smashed his phone into pieces.
In addition to this, Wizkid allegedly
also broke a window in the Dubai
Night club, in his rage, forcing
Dubai police to shut down the club
temporarily, ruining the fun for the
night crawlers present at the party.
Wizkid who has been in Dubai
since Thursday the 26th of March,
to headline the Dubai edition of
Industry night, has not come out to
address the allegations.
Samuel Ajayi who goes by

INEC postpones election in 7 federal constituencies in Jigawa state

He said the federal constituencies where there
would be a postponement includes Dutse/

INEC Result Sheet For Presidential Election In Bauchi Found In Anambra

Shock engulfed the Independent

including stalwarts of political
parties yesterday at the
commission’s Anambra state
headquarters, Awka, following the
discovery of the INEC Result sheet
Form EC8As forPresidential

The commission’s Head of

INEC officials who were sorting out
the sensitive electoral materials,
distributing them to the various 21

shocked in the early hours of
yesterday when they discovered in
one of the sealed packs that some
Form EC 8A Results sheets for
Presidential election in Buachi state
were contained in the packs, also,
containing some result sheets for
election in the state.
The INEC staff there adopted
careful checking of the various

Towards 2015 Elections!! Open Letter To Electorates

It is all good that the much
anticipated 2015 general election is
here. And of course it is a good
feeling to know that the future of
our nation in the next four years is
in our hands.
It’s not news anymore that whoever
we Nigerians elect may not emerge
but the fact still remains that we
have all fulfilled our civic
responsibility and whosoever rig
his/her way in will know quite well
that he doesn’t have the people’s
mandate.
Dear electorates,
I know majority may have made
their decisions while some are
waiting to get to the polling booth
to make their own decision.
Whatever the case may be let’s vote
wisely.
Fellow Nigerians let’s take a deep
look backwards, we all experience
chaos poised by the boko boys, we
all know the passive reactions of
the continuity seeking government
towards it. Corrupt minds in the
cabinet of government (aviation
minister and the likes). The
question is, does Nigeria deserves
to continue in corruption? do we
deserve not to sleep with our two
eyes closed because of insecurity?
Now everyone is singing the
melody of change. Anyway change
is the constant thing in life. What if
change from insecurity leads to
brutality, what if change from
corruption result to extortion. The
definition of change is still a
nightmare to everyone. But then
vote wisely! #VoteNotFight

Arrest Of Card Reader Company Technicians Won’t Affect Elections – Jega

The Chairman, Independent
National Electoral Commission,
Prof Attahiru Jega, on Friday
assured Nigerians that adequate
preparations had been made by the
commission to conduct credible
election across the country today.
Jega gave the assurance at a joint
news conference he addressed in
his Abuja office with the Director-
General, National Youths Service
Corps, Brig.-Gen. Bamidele
Olawumi.
He allayed fears that the arrest of
some workers of the firm that
produced the Permanent Voter
Cards by security operatives would
affect INEC operations throughout
the election period.
Jega said, “I received a letter from
the Chairman of Act Technologies
Limited, the contractor that is
handling the production of the
PVCs and the card readers on
Thursday.
“In the letter, he conveyed to the
commission that two of his workers
are under investigation and
detention by the State Security
Service and that the detention of
the two staff, is affecting their
operations in the company.
“It is not the chairman of the
company that was arrested, but his
staff. As far as I know, it is not
affecting our operations for the
election. We have already deployed
for the election so it will not affect
the process.”
The INEC boss described as
libelous, malicious and
irresponsible, a statement credited
to a political party which alleged
that the commission compromised
the integrity of the electoral process
by awarding the contract for the
production of the PVCs and card
reader supply to an already
blacklisted firm.
He also clarified that the
commission’s technical staff were
fully in charge of the card readers’
operations and that contrary to the
political party’s allegation, the
supplier of the card readers was
not in possession of their ‘master
key.’
He said, “The Acts Technologies
Nigeria Limited competed for it
(contract) alongside other
Nigerians; went through due
diligence, bureau of public
Procurement and bid for it. The
contract was approved by the
Federal Executive Council because
the quantum of money involved
was beyond what the agency can
release on its own.
“As far as we are concerned, there
is no record indicating that Act
Technologies Limited has been
blacklisted either by INEC or any
other person with regards to
procurement of materials for us.”
Jega, however, said there should
not be any controversy over the
choice of the electorate to vote and
remain at the polling unit or to go
home.
He said, “We are concerned about
the integrity of the electoral process
and we believe that the
transparency of the process will be
enhanced if after casting their
votes, the electorate remain to
know who has won in their polling
units.
“It is not in the guidelines that
people should vote and go or to stay
after voting. If people choose to,
they should be allowed to stay so
long as they are law-abiding and
conduct themselves peacefully.”
The INEC boss added that over 700,
000 temporary staff, including 134,
000 corps members were deployed
to conduct election in the 119, 973
polling units across the country.

I Used Cocaine But It Never Worked For Me – Terry G

One of the most controversial
artistes in Nigeria is certainly
Terry G. But then, the controversies
that have trailed him have in no
way affected his career.
Perceived to indulge in hard
substance, Terry G admitted it was
actually an actress that introduced
him to the use of hard drugs.
Though he didn’t mention the name
of the actress while having a chat
with Saturday Beats recently, the
singer said it was never really his
intention to get into drugs.
“People actually see me as a very
bad guy, so it does not surprise me
when I go to certain places and
they offer me some things because
they think I already indulge in
them.
It was a gathering of celebrities
and they say when you are in Rome
act like a Roman. I was offered and
I did not want to be seen as the odd
one out, so I indulged in it with
them,” he said.
Talking about the substance, Terry
G said it was cocaine but he found
out that it didn’t “work” for him
even after he used it, so he decided
to quit.
“I am the first born of my family
and I felt it would not be good to
continue with such.
Also, God has blessed me with
enough energy. My fans know me
to be very energetic and I believe
that anything that could slow me
down can kill me.
I spoke to myself because the
substance normally slowed me
down and I decided to stop it.
While I indulged in it, nobody
knew because I know how to
control myself,” he said.
Terry G could remember how he
quit as he said, “I cut off all
relationships that I had with that
set of people. We stopped
communicating.
I have never bought it before in my
life, so it was easy to stop once I cut
those people off.”
Apart from the drug issue, there
was a time Terry G decided to add
‘Zuz’ to his name. A lot of people
frowned at it, saying it was
blasphemous.
Reacting to that, Terry G said, “That
is what they think. Jesus is a name.
They should make their findings, I
am a child of God and I will never
blaspheme.
The name Jesus has been in
existence even before our Lord was
born. The only comma there is
Christ. I cannot call myself Christ.
The spelling of my name is
different. It is Terry G Zuz, not
Terry Jesus.
But based on the fact that I love
controversy, I did not mind. It is
just the same way I said people
should be calling me Lucifer.
I knew it was going to create
controversy but what I meant was
‘look see far.’
Our elders often say that what they
can see sitting down, a child cannot
see it even if he climbs a tree and
that is what informed the name.
I like thinking out of the box.”

12 Types Of People You Will Meet On Election Day

As we all know that the election is just
few Hours to hold, and there are
categories of people we are going to
meet on that day and i bring to you, the
12 types of people we are going to meet
at the polling unit on election day.
See The 12 Types Of People You Will Meet
On Election Day Below:-
1 The gentlemen/ladies
These are the types of people the will
visit the polling unit just to fulfil their
mission which is to vote peacefully and
after that, go back to their home without
any problem.
2 The elders
These people(mostly men) are always
between the age 70-80+ you will always
find them sitting under a tree or any
shaded area within the polling centre
lecturing young men about the history of
politics and how the country was going
from bad to good and vice versa.
3 The I Too Know (ITKs)
These are the categories of people that
you will see jumping from one place to
the other as if they are INEC chairman.
You will never see them at rest, they can
even go to the extent of teaching the
INEC officials their works.
4 The ushers
You will always see these categories of
people on the queue looking very quiet
but when they see a person trying to
manipulate the queue, they will just
walk to him/her and say something like
“Oga, please go and join the queue at the
back, we that have being on the line are
not animals” they will never leave you
until you do the needful.
5 The coordinators
They are more like the ushers but
something special about them is that
they are not always on the queue, if they
see you trying to sneak into the queue,
they will just appear from nowhere and
say “hey” then point to the back, due to
the fear that you don’t know the kind of
person they are, you will port to the back
with immediate effect.
6 The confused ones
Looking at them only, you will deduce
that they are confused. They will always
be looking as if someone is about to
kidnap them or you will always see them
asking questions silly like “Brother, will
they collect this PVC from us after we are
through?” or “Sister, shebi Buhari the
PDP presidential candidate?” They are
always annoying.
7 The VIPs
These are always the big men of the
hood, they will just drive down to the
polling unit with their expensive ride
and walk up to the INEC officials with a
bottle water in their hands and do all
the necessary stuffs and drive back
home immediately
8 The spacebookers
I usually wonder if that’s what they do to
make money on that day or they are just
naturally mumus. They will be on the
queue for hours and when it’s almost
their turn to vote, someone will just
come from nowhere and take their place
then you will see them leaving.
9 The lookers/observers
Some are not even there to vote but to
watch people arguing or fighting, you
will always see them at alert with their
phones getting ready to snap/video any
funny or fist throwing event that takes
place at the unit.
10 The fighters
Their own mission is to come and cause
violence at the polling unit, they will
mistakenly hit you or march you, instead
of saying sorry, they will turn it to fight.
Be careful when dealing with them
11 The traders
I usually love the courage of these people
coz any opportunity they see, they will
use it to promote their business. You will
see them early in the morning already
offloading bags of pure water, snacks,
groundnut, coolers of rice and other
foods some will even bring their tables
to roast boli(roasted plantains) at the
polling unit, they are always desperate
to make money.
12 The pickpocketers
One of my teachers defined them as
“Dem no be thieves ooo but if they pass,
something go lost”. All they need to do is
to just look at your pocket and they will
explore everything inside it then you will
see them passing your side 24/7 or
trying to form familiarity with you, my
brother be watchful or else they will
steal you sef.
keep calm and vote wisely. God Bless

Amber Rose shares untouched butt pic, blames paparazzi for taking bad pics of her

Yesterday, paparazzi released untouched photos
of Amber Rose at the beach in Hawaii and in the
photos you can see Amber's butt is not as
smooth as she wants us to believe (see here ) in
photos she posts on instagram. Anyway, this
morning Amber tried to defend herself (don't
know why she would even bother) by sharing the
raw untouched photo of this pic she shared two
days ago (left is the raw version) claiming it
wasn't Photoshopped and blamed paparazzi for
taking bad angled unflattering pics of her.
When her followers called her out for lying that
the pic was not Photoshopped, Amber quickly
took down the post but not before I screen-
grabbed it...hehe. See what she wrote after the
